Korea warns United States military option would lead to tragic fate

China's natural disaster administration said on Saturday it had detected a magnitude 3.4 quake in North Korea that was a "suspected explosion", raising fears the isolated state had conducted another nuclear bomb test weeks after its last one.

A magnitude 3.0 quake has been detected in North Korea around where a nuclear test recently took place but it has been assessed as natural, South Korea's weather agency said.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said on Sunday President Trump does not want to get involved in a nuclear war with North Korea, despite the escalating feud between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho's remarks before the United Nations General Assembly came hours after U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers escorted by fighter jets flew in worldwide airspace over waters east of North Korea, in a show of force the Pentagon said demonstrated the range of military options available to Trump. We can not conclusively confirm at this time the nature (natural or human-made) of the event.

The Pentagon said the patrols are created to display the numerous military options Trump has at his disposal in response to the threat presented by North Korea's nuclear program. Kim's foreign minister told reporters this past week that the North's response to Trump "could be the most powerful detonation of an H-bomb in the Pacific".

"This is the farthest north of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) any US fighter or bomber aircraft have flown off North Korea's coast in the 21st century", White said.

North Koreans gather at Kim Il Sung Square to attend a mass rally against America on Saturday in Pyonyang, North Korea.

In another dizzying development Saturday, what seismologists say was a minor quake prompted speculation that Pyongyang could be conducting yet another weapons test.

China to limit oil exports to North Korea
Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera noted a Pacific test could mean a nuclear-armed missile flying over Japan. China is North Korea's most important trading partner, and one of its only sources of hard currency.

If it is confirmed as a nuclear test, it would be the North Korean regime's seventh. "S. dotard with fire". Ri said Trump will "pay dearly" for his speech Tuesday.

On Thursday, US President Donald Trump ordered new sanctions that open the door wider to blacklisting people and entities doing business with the isolated nation, including its shipping and trade networks, further tightening the screws on Pyongyang's missile programme.

Trump announced new USA sanctions on Thursday that he said allow targeting of companies and institutions that finance and facilitate trade with North Korea.

On Saturday, China said it will limit exports of refined petroleum products.

North Korea has been working on developing missiles that can reach the United States and its allies and pair them with a miniaturized nuclear warheads.

A ban on textile imports from the North will go into effect immediately, the statement said.

Under Kim Jong Un's leadership, Pyongyang carried out several intercontinental ballistic missile tests, including 20 missile tests in 2016.

The US bombers' flight was the farthest north of the demilitarized zone separating North and South Korea that any US fighter jet or bomber has flown in the 21st century, the Pentagon said.
