Marilyn Manson Injured After A Stage Prop Collapses

Marilyn Manson was injured Saturday night after a stage-prop of two large pistols fell on him during a performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday night.

According to TMZ, he was taken to the hospital in a stretcher.

The extent of Manson's injuries are unknown at this time and it's unclear if he has left NY for Los Angeles.

In the first, the accident occurs around two minutes into the video.

Yousif Al Zaid, 23, who was at the show in NY, said: "It happened in the middle of his song Sweet Dreams. Towards the middle of the song it seemed as though he tried climbing onto a prop", and eye witness told the BBC.

Fans said they then watched as a curtain was put up where the incident had taken place.

Danny Etling threw touchdown passes of 34 yards to Russell Gage and 20 yards to Foster Moreau to bring LSU within three. Ouch: LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is now 5-4 at Tiger Stadium, including games when he was at Ole Miss.

Eyewitness Anthony Biscardi told the BBC that Manson was covered by a black sheet before he could be taken off stage on a stretcher, adding that the performer was "pretty limp, nearly as though he was unconscious".

The structure gave way and fell forward, sending Manson flying backwards and knocking him to the floor where he laid for several minutes. "Manson hopes to return to the stage soon, more details on upcoming shows to follow".

Pitchfork reports Manson was treated at a hospital and plans to recuperate at his home in Los Angeles, and tour dates between October 2 and October 14 will be rescheduled.

Manson's next show is scheduled for Monday at the House of Blues in Boston.

Reps for Manson have not commented on how he is doing nor have they revealed the extent of his injuries. They rushed to the backstage area and yelled "Ice, Ice!" repeatedly.
