Gunman's partner Marilou Danley 'on holiday in Tokyo'

Las Vegas police said it was believed Paddock, a divorced, retired accountant had used some of Danley's identification to book the hotel room, having first checked in September 28, while she was out of the country.

Julie Bishop, the Australian foreign minister, said that the USA authorities had been in touch with Canberra about the woman's whereabouts.

According to Danley's LinkedIn, she had worked previously at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno as a hostess.

It is still unclear whether Danley was the girlfriend of Paddock, who U.S. reports say was going through a divorce before carrying out the massacre which ended when he killed himself.

"We have had conversations with her and we believed her, at this time, not to be involved". Police will question her in a search for a possible motive for Paddock's rampage.

Australian media said she was on holiday in the Philippines with three girlfriends. In the Everipedia post, which was shared more than 4,000 times on Facebook, Danley was identified as "a Democrat and is registered to vote in Washoe County, Nevada" who liked several anti-Trump pages on Facebook.

The BI said that they could not release any information because Danley is no longer considered a person of interest by the Las Vegas police.

Obama tweeted about attending the Games on Friday: "Proud to cheer on Team USA at the Invictus Games today with my friend Joe". So now that Prince Harry is out there meeting Meghan Markle's mom , we want to know when they're going to get engaged.

The woman believed to be his girlfriend, Marilou Danley, is not believed to be involved with the shooting.

In the shooting, which has been labeled the most deadly mass shooting in USA history, 59 people were killed with another 515 being injured. "The poor lady, she is in the Philippines visiting family".

Sheriff Lombardo said authorities need to ask Danley about the weapons.

"We mourn with the families of those who perished and hope for the speedy recovery of the more than 400 people who were reported injured", Cayetano said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the Philippine consulate is keeping its eye on the situation and will be ready to aid Filipinos who may have been injured in the mass shooting.

"Na-clear na po siya ng Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, kasi out of the country po nu'ng nangyari 'yung insidente, so...wala po siyang kinalaman".
