Las Vegas shooter's father was a notorious bank robber

Stephen Paddock's father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was born in Sheboygan in 1925.

His father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was a diagnosed psychopath, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and he was convicted of "bank robbery, automobile larceny, and confidence game".

Benjamin Paddock was in and out of prison in IL before heading to Arizona, where he robbed a bank and escaped from prison, landing him on that list.

But investigators haven't determined a motive for the Sunday night shooting.

He said his brother, a retired accountant, lived a comfortable life taking cruises and gambling.

The Filipina was identified as Marilou Danley who was initially reported as a companion of Stephen Paddock, who went on a shooting spree in Las Vegas on Sunday, local time.

Stephen last communicated with his brother via a text, asking Eric about their mother, who'd lost power during Hurricane Irma.

"This is such a nice peaceful community to hear that there could be any kind of person that could do such a heinous crime, it's hard to believe", said former neighbor Rebecca Carver who said she was told Stephen had bought the home as an investment property. Police in Mesquite said he was a resident in this town of about 18 000 people since June 2016.

It thanked Ayatollah Sistani for his stances on the need for safeguarding Iraq's national unity and constitutional rule.

Authorities searched his home Monday and found weapons and ammunition, but Mesquite police spokesman Quinn Averett did not give details. "We've spoken to him and we do not believe that it is involved". "He was not someone that we hung out with", said Eric.

Stephen Paddock is seen in a photo provided by CNN.

"We had no knowledge of this individual", Lombardo said.

"I didn't know him".

He repeatedly described his brother as "just a guy" who sometimes gambled on the Las Vegas strip.

"If he'd have killed my kids, I couldn't be more dumbfounded", Eric Paddock said.

But while the shooter himself had no criminal background, the same reportedly can not be said for all his family.

Having met Paddock, 64, himself once, Paddock added: "He wasn't very sociable". It is likely given the death prior to the arrival of the police in his hotel room.
