Kunis told "Entertainment Tonight" they do not want their children to grow up accustomed to getting extravagant gifts.

"I come from communist Russian Federation, where you're not allowed to be happy, so my holiday traditions are 'be quiet, '" Kunis said. But she explained that last Christmas her daughter Wyatt was so unnecessarily spoilt by her grandparents that the couple were inspired to make the new "no presents" rule and suggest they give to charity instead. "They don't know even more what they expect: they're just waiting for something, no matter what it is", she says.
