American Music Awards: Diana Ross Performs, Accepts Lifetime Achievement Award

When your grandma is music legend Diana Ross, it only makes sense that knowing how to groove is in your DNA.

After it was announced back in October that the former Supremes star would receive that AMA's Lifetime Achievement award, Diana emphasized what it meant to her to receive the special honor. "We love you so much, so very much", she gushed while accepting the prestigious accolade with her family by her side. However, she was raised by Ross and her first husband, Robert Ellis Silberstein. "I said, 'I want to be like her, '" Winfrey recalled. Bow down to Queen Diana Ross, the ultimate boss. But it was the singer's grandkids that stole the whole darn AMAs when they joined Ross for her performance of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".

Throughout her performance, two screens behind her showed a variation of video clips from past shows as well as photos of Ross and her close friends and family.
