Musk wants to send his first Tesla Roadster in orbit around Mars

Falcon Heavy is a beefed up version of the company's Falcon 9 rocket which, along with its Dragon craft capsule, has been used multiple times to bring supplies to astronauts on board the International Space Station, before safely returning to Earth.

It will also be twice as powerful as the next largest rocket now in use in this country.

That's not all, the rocket's payload will be Musk's own cherry Tesla Roadster, which will interestingly, be playing the song Space Oddity on the journey.

SpaceX successfully completed a "static fire test" of the "world's most powerful" rocket back in May. Musk himself has said that the first Falcon Heavy launch may end in disaster or fail to achieve Earth orbit, much less complete a Hohmann transfer and head for Mars.

The arranged goal is Mars and, all being great, Musk said his vehicle would be in the planet's circle for "a billion years". It will have its maiden voyage somewhere at the beginning of 2018 (current launch date is set somewhere in January), and people wondered what it could use as a payload. Company executives previously spoke of how hard it is to build such a large rocket-powered by three Falcon 9 cores, meaning it has thrice the thrust of original Falcon 9.

Disaster Relief Forces Save Stranded 75 Fishermen in Cyclone Ockhi
Earlier, Cyclone Ockhi which created massive destruction in Tamil Nadu and Kerala is now moving towards Lakshwadeep Islands. Palaniswami announced a solatium of Rs 4 lakh to the kin of each of the victims, an official release said.

SpaceX has revealed the updated schedule for Falcon Heavy's debut flight.

Falcon Heavy is, in overly simple terms, three of the company's Falcon 9 rockets strapped together.

While it would be marvelous to see SpaceX's heavy-lift rocket carry a Tesla to Mars next month, it may be best to limit our expectations.

Elon Musk ultimately wants to build a mega-rocket known as the Interplanetary Transport System, which will basically make the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy obsolete, as well as take on their duties. Not that the first humans on Mars will be able to drive it.
