Samsung announced new Windows 10 PCs from its Notebook 9 series

In early 2017, the company added a folding hinge for 2-in-1 tablet use and pen-shaped instrument, stylus.

The Notebook 9 Pen comes with a 13.3-inch RealViewTouch full HD 1080 display. The Notebook 9 Pen would include Intel's 8 generation Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. One of these is Samsung's Notebook 9 series for 2018. "The 13" Notebook 9 is the thinnest of the bunch at 0.59" (14.9 mm) and the Notebook 9 Pen is the thickest, measuring 0.65" (16.5 mm) at its thickest point.

Samsung today announced the new Notebook 9 Pen and three new versions of the Notebook 9 (2018). All in all, the specs are great... save for the Full HD display resolution of the entire upgraded Notebook 9 family.

Samsung did not reveal pricing and availability yet.

Samsung Notebook 9 Pen

The Notebook 9 and Notebook 9 Pen will be available this month in Korea, and the first quarter of 2018 in the United States. Users will have access to 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processors, plus Samsung Dual Channel Memory. As the name specifies, the 13-inch Notebook 9 Pen is ready to take on Surface devices which include a built-in battery-free S Pen stylus, much like the Notebook 9 Pro introduced in May. The 15-inch model offers a wider selection of port including a Thunderbolt 3.0 port, two USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port and microSD card slot.

Interestingly, the bezel on the laptop is just 5.2 millimetres thick, and it's also made of the same Metal12 alloy. Inside the metal body, Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) features a large 75Wh Hexacell battery, the largest that Samsung has placed inside a notebook yet. The company will also include its Samsung Link Sharing transfer tool for sharing things like documents and photos with another device. The non S-Pen supporting models are backed by 75Whr batteries, while the Notebook 9 Pen model is supported by 39Whr battery. This is for those who need a more graphics power than what the Intel integrated solution offers. The front-facing IR camera supports facial authentication through Windows Hello. Samsung hasn't announced price or release date of the notebooks yet, but the new lineup should be priced upwards of $1000 (or approx Rs 64,285).

Further, the laptops come with RealView display, offering a bright and accurate premium image with real color and accurate brightness for using the device indoors and outdoors.
