Reliance Jio intros new Rs.199 and Rs.299 prepaid plans

The special offer for the Prime customers includes triple cashback of up to Rs 2,599 on every recharge of Rs 399 or above.

After Reliance Jio launched the Rs 199 and Rs 299 plan last week, BSNL and Vodafone have been quick to catch up on the offering.

Under the Rs 198 plan, users will get 1GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls, for a validity of 28 days.

Jio's Happy New Year plan gives tough competition to incumbent operator's plans.

Reliance Jio has several prepaid and postpaid recharge options with data as well as voice call benefits. Earlier the company was offering 1GB of 3G/4G data for the entire month. Local, STD and roaming calls are free and unlimited. Both the plans are valid for 28 days. Jio Rs 399 prepaid recharge planJio's prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 399 comes with 70 GBs of high speed data for a validity period of 70 days.

The tool works with Instagram accounts as well as Facebook accounts; you'll need to be logged in for it to work, obviously. Facebook said it has not withheld information from everyone as part of plans to prevent a reoccurrence.

Airtel customers can avail 2GB per day data through a Rs 349 plan which has similar benefits. The validity of this prepaid recharge plan is 84 days. Its FRC plan of Rs 229 offers 1GB 4G/3G/2G data per day.

Its Rs 199 offers subscribers 1.2GB per day, taking the total data in the month to 33.6GB.

Airtel is now offering a Rs 199 monthly plan (with 28 days of validity). If users recharge via My Idea app or Idea website, they will get 28 days of validity.

The pack also offers 100 free SMS per day.

On Friday, Jio has rolled out monthly tariff plans for Rs 199 and Rs 299 in which the subscriber gets Rs 1.2GB and 2GB a day respectively.
