Justine Damond's death hijacked by white nationalist group

The group laid flowers, candles and a framed photograph of Damond, who was 40, on a sidewalk outside a Minneapolis police station precinct.

In August, a rally by several hundred white nationalists and white supremacists, organized in part by Identity Evropa activists, erupted at the University of Virginia, resulted in shoving, punching and the spraying of chemical irritants by both groups.

In a later tweet, the group corrected its original tweet to say the Hennepin County prosecutor has said he doesn't yet have enough evidence for charges.

On Friday, the group Identity Evropa reportedly erected a shrine to Damond outside the 5th Precinct building in south Minneapolis. Minneapolis Police spokesman John Elder told Minnesota Public Radio News that the rest of the display was removed because the department "cannot allow any memorial and anything like that to be put up at that location".

According to the report, a statement was released Sunday evening with regards to this matter.

Minneapolis Mayor-Elect Jacob Frey said the white nationalist's actions were "cowardly" and "disgusting". He added, "Identity Evropa and those who share their values have no place in our city".

The hate group Identify Evropa took credit for the "shrine" honoring Justine Damond outside the Minneapolis police headquarters on its Twitter account on Saturday.

Looks like Florida State should not be bowl eligible this year
The NCAA has an option to extend a waiver to Florida State due to extenuating circumstances, if any action is to be taken at all. But a Reddit user has taken a closer look at Florida State's bowl eligibility this year, and poked a big hole in it.

Noor came to the U.S.at a young age, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported, and was a member of the Somali American Police Association.

After news about the shrine being cleared broke, the group again tweeted calling those who cleared "lunatic".

On July 15, she called 911 to report a possible sexual assault behind her home in an upper-middle-class neighborhood in July.

Damond, who was struck in the abdomen, died at the scene. She was a life coach and yoga instructor and was supposed to get married to a Minneapolis man in a month's time.

Authorities are now deciding whether or not to lay charges against officer Mr Noor.

Ms Damond's death sparked outrage in Australia, where Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull called it "inexplicable" and "a shocking killing". According to him, the investigation was not carried out properly and completely. According to a search warrant, Noor heard a slap on the squad auto and shot across his partner, striking Damond in the stomach and killing her, the Star Tribune reported.
