Jennifer Lawrence Shines In 2nd 'Red Sparrow' Trailer

It's directed by Francis Lawrence, who previously directed Jennifer Lawrence in the last three Hunger Games movies, and also helmed the Will Smith sci-fi blockbuster I Am Legend.

The trailer shows footage of her training with multiple young women as Charlotte Rampling's character asserts, "From this day forward, you will become Sparrows".

Granted, I'm a fan of spy thrillers in general, but this looks like a cool decision by Lawrence (and Lawrence) that will help people forget about that mother! movie she made past year.

In Red Sparrow, Jennifer Lawrence plays a character who begins in desperate circumstances.

Malaysia Confirms New Phase of MH370 Flight Search
To date nothing larger than an outboard wing flap has been discovered among debris identified as coming from the missing aircraft. Malaysia has agreed to allow a US firm to resume the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that disappeared in March 2014.

After a brutal training, Egorova becomes the most effective, lethal Sparrow to come from the school. A devoted daughter determined to protect her mother at all costs. With a star cast and Jennifer Lawrence kicking ass in a role unlike any we've seen her in before, this movie is getting us more hyped by the day. "A master of seductive and manipulative combat". Egorova emerges as the most unsafe Sparrow after completing the sadistic training process. When one of the girls goes mysteriously missing, they begin suspect that she could be Slender Man's latest victim. It will be in theaters on March 2, 2018.

In the story, Egorova suffers a career-ending injury, Dominika and her mother are facing a bleak and uncertain future.

After becoming a sparrow, Dominika is assigned to take down an American CIA agent, dubbed as an government traitor (Joel Edgerton), who soon tries to convince her to make those behind the sparrow service pay.

Based on the book by former Central Intelligence Agency officer Jason Matthews, Red Sparrow reunites Jennifer Lawrence with her Hunger Games director, Francis Lawrence with Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Jeremy Irons, and Mary Louise Parker rounding out the cast.
