Four years later, Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is finally coming out

The Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn trailer begins by looking back at the original Shaq Fu.

But Shaq Fu has a dubious legacy. His involvement also certainly helped reach the funding goal in a timely manner, as he provided high-level donors with a host of goodies, including signed jerseys, trips to see tapings of National Basketball Association on TNT, and even the chance to have Shaq come and DJ a party for you-for the low ticket price of $35,000. You know it's Shaq Fu, baby!

Saber Interactive has announced a partnership with Wired Productions, announcing that Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will arrive this spring for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and the Nintendo Switch both digitally and physically.

Provisions to take during flu season
And health officials say it's still not too late to get vaccinated - they expect flu season will last at least another few weeks. That makes sense; having difficulty breathing at a "normal" time can be exacerbated when the flu strikes and lungs are damaged.

Communication about the fate of Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn has been sparse over the past year.

In Shaq Fu, players take control of the unstoppable Shaquille O'Neal as he fights his way through the hordes of Hell and Hollywood. Based on the footage seen in the trailer above, A Legend Reborn will actually be a side-scrolling beat-em-up instead of the original 2D fighter.

Taking all of this into consideration, while Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn probably won't break new ground when it comes to video games, the forthcoming title has plenty of promise to be heralded as a solid and enjoyable release, especially when one considers the low benchmark set by its predecessor. Everyone else will have to pony up the big bucks to experience "Big Daddy O" and "Big Diesel" (two of Shaq's kung fu alter egos). Have you been cheated out of entertainment by Shaquille O'Neal one too many times now?
