Conte admits to 'anger' and 'sadness' over Chelsea's poor form

According to latest reports, under fire Chelsea manager Antonio Conte dismissed his former Juventus team-mate Gianluca Vialli's claim that he wants to leave the Premier League club.

West Ham, now six points clear of the relegation zone, were ecstatic to escape with a point despite a largely limp display.

Chelsea have only won three league games this calendar year in matches against Brighton, West Brom and Crystal Palace, which has seen them become outsiders in the race for the top four. Maybe next season, I will have another prediction that is better than this [season's prediction].

Conte said: "This game describes our season". The most important thing for us is to finish the season in the best possible way. We are talking about improving but now another not positive result as we drew. you have to win this game. We have to look forward but at the same time, we have to look behind [at Arsenal]. We must win it. I'm very frustrated and I hope my players go home and stay frustrated because then we will have the right mentality.

Conte had admitted losing at home to Tottenham for the first time in 28 years last weekend was a huge setback in Chelsea's bid to salvage a dismal campaign by qualifying for the Champions League.

"I understand because he is now a journalist and he has to give news, to try to speak about my situation", the Italian said.

It was only a temporary reprieve for West Ham as Conte's men took a 36th-minute lead from the resulting short corner. This is not right.

Liverpool fans inspired us against Manchester City, insists Oxlade-Chamberlain
Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a superb long-range goal to give the Reds a 2-0 lead on the night, as Jurgen Klopp's men took control of the tie ahead of next week's second leg at the Etihad Stadium.

"I am reading a lot of speculation since the start of season".

The former Italy boss added: 'We must be realistic, because if we can not win this type of game, then we are talking about what?

He added: "I think we begged for the goal, and in the second half, or even in the first half we could have finished the game, but like the last few months we couldn't, and we conceded at the end".

"In this case, if we wanted to reach a place in the Champions League [we have to win], because the other teams are clinical".

Both teams had chances to win the match, and the Hammers will feel aggrieved that they didn't get a penalty in the 86th minute when N'Golo Kante did not get the ball in tackling Arnautovic.

"We have had good performances all season but you have to score".
