Trump takes aim at ex-FBI chief Comey in tweetstorm

Trump seized on that, saying Comey "was making decisions based on the fact that he thought she was going to win, and he wanted a job".

The FBI reopened the investigation into Clinton's use of a private email server on October 28, 2016, after investigators found classified emails sent to top aide Huma Abedin on husband Anthony Weiner's computer. The president appears to be referring to passages in A Higher Loyalty in which Comey wrote that he had a "tortured half-in, half-out approach" to the investigation into Clinton's emails. Just another of his many lies.

Mr Trump's allies have also mounted an online campaign to discredit Mr Comey's book, with a website that brands the nation's former top law enforcement official as "Lyin' Comey". There is no indication Comey is under investigation for doing either.

Not long after the investigation got rolling, Trump chose to fire James Comey as head of the FBI, resulting in Robert Mueller taking over as special counsel.

The commander-in-chief has stamped Comey as a "LEAKER & LIAR", ahead of his highly anticipated tome, which hits shelves Tuesday.

The renewed attacks by Trump came as ABC News was set to air an interview with Comey at 10 p.m. EDT on Sunday in which he discusses his book, "A Higher Loyalty". "It must have been", he said, adding he was "operating in a world where Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump".

The judge added that the plaintiff has show remorse for his actions, and the offense was also relatively minor. It is speculated that this new feature is closely going to follow the update in Gmail's interface.

Comey finally broke the silence on the salacious allegations from a dossier which stated that Russian authorities recorded US President Donald Trump watching prostitutes urinate in a hotel suite in Moscow in 2013.

In one excerpt, Mr Comey said he did not remember "consciously thinking" about the election results as he made a decision to disclose that the FBI had reopened its investigation into Hillary Clinton's email use.

Trump accused Comey of lying to Congress, but did not specify was he was referring to, and said the former Federal Bureau of Investigation chief should be prosecuted for leaking classified information.

Instead of being remembered as a dedicated servant in the pursuit of justice like so many of his other colleagues at the FBI, Comey will be forever known as a disgraced partisan hack that broke his sacred trust with the president of the United States, the dedicated agents of the FBI and the American people he vowed to faithfully serve.

In his tweets Sunday, Trump said "big questions" aren't answered in Comey's book, and repeats accusations about the FBI's impartiality under Comey.
