LeBron James, Cavs end Raptors' season for third straight year

For the second straight year, the Toronto Raptors were thoroughly embarrassed by LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers by being swept out of the playoffs four games to none. We saw that in the first series so now we should be pretty much immune to it.

James was once more the tormentor in chief for Toronto, contributing eight rebounds and 11 assists in addition to his 29 points.

The Eastern Conference Finals are scheduled to begin May 15 and 16, but could be moved up to May 13 or 14 depending on how long the series between the Celtics and 76ers last.

Once again it was LeBron James who landed the fatal blow in Game 3, sealing the Raptors' defeat with a game-winning two-pointer at the buzzer.

21 -After seemingly being out of the playoff rotation prior to Game 4, Cedi Osman not only led the reserves with 21 minutes, but he made the a lot of them as well. "Things just don't go right for us".

Kevin Love, who struggled in a seven-game scrap with in in the first round, had another solid game with 23 points.

10 ... straight playoff victories against the Toronto Raptors. Of the 130 teams to take a 3-0, all of them have won the series. One of the best bench units in the league, they showed up for this elimination game, contributing towards 48 of the 93 Raptors points which is remarkable on their part.

"From Game 1, they were wonderful", James said of his teammates.

Local elections: No clear victor , Labour and Tories neck and neck
Following the wipe-out of Ukip on the local councils, it was the Conservative Party who won the support among Leave voters. The Conservatives control 46 - down two.

The Raptors led all the way through regulation time in Game 1, only to lose in overtime.

James has done it at both ends in the waning moments of games all season for a team that has only four holdovers from its 2016 title squad. "If the game is tied or the game is on the line, we got a great person to go to down the stretch".

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that LeBron has worked on his game so much that he's logged considerable practice time on wrong-legged, hang-in-the-air-forever, bank shots at the buzzer.

Even from LeBron James, who, at age 33, is already the best or second-best player of all-time.

As overwhelming an advantage as the Cavs might seem to be taking into Monday's Game 4, Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue is cautioning his team against overconfidence. The Cavs didn't let up, pushing their lead to 30.

Toronto coach Dwane Casey described his team as "emotionally drunk after game one and game three". It's a highlight that has been replayed endlessly on sports TV ever since, along with pundits discussing how Cleveland owns Toronto in the playoffs.

"Boston will probably play them in the slow physical style in did", Pluto said. They overhauled their entire system and philosophy, earned the No. 1 seed for the first time in franchise history, finished the regular season with a top-five offense and defense and it just didn't matter.

It is the third straight year that the Raptors' have bowed out of the playoffs against the Cavaliers.
