Tech finished at 835 (-17), followed by Middle Tennessee State at 836 (-16). Doug Ghim of Texas leads the event with a 12-under 130. Everett posted six birdies and shot 66 for the third time this season.

The Cyclones will tee off in third round action tomorrow with a berth in the NCAA Championships on the line.
