Manchester United in talks with Porto over right back Diogo Dalot

Dalot, 19, has a release clause of £17.4m but United are not thought to have activated it yet.

Seems like a poor guy can't write scout reports for a few hours without his mentions and DMs being exploded into an insane mess of Diogo Dalot questions.

While many would not have heard of Diogo Dalot, Manchester United fans would hope Jose Mourinho and his backroom staff have done their scouting well before moving for the 19-year-old.

Dalot has represented Portugal from under-15 to under-21 level and made his Porto debut in October. Dalot is unlikely to be a starter, with Valencia being one of the manager's favorites, but is certain to get game time with United competing in four different competitions. United are also in the market for another full-back, a left-back, to strengthen in that area also. His primary position is right back, but he can play left back if needed as well.

Florida gov. declares state of emergency ahead of Subtropical Storm Alberto
The storm's remnants could reach Upstate by Wednesday night or Thursday , according to local National Weather Service offices. Flooding and flash flooding are possible in the southeast United States , including Florida, the agency said.

Matteo Darmian is set to join Juventus, while Dutch worldwide Daley Blind is unlikely to still be a United player by the start of the new season.

Porto had previously turned down bids lower than Dalot's release clause but after United finally made their move, they've come to the realisation that they're powerless to stop the youngster from making his next move.

The Portuguese giants wanted to renew his contract, but his agent stalled on negotiations and his entourage recently met the club hierarchy to reveal the player's desire to leave.

"[When] Raul Sanllehi [now at Arsenal] was still at the club when they told us not to worry, that they were going to call us to renew", Alba's agent Vicente Fores said, as quoted by the Mirror. "It's been a year and a half now", he added.
