EPA staffers say Pruitt sent them on errands to get snack food

President Trump defended Pruitt at an event on Wednesday.

With a Niagara Falls-like torrent of news exposing Scott Pruitt's passion for penny-ante corruption, it can be hard to remember what evidence of his moral bankruptcy came to light last month, or even just last week. Two, he thinks looking for lotion accompanied by a full security detail is an OK use of time and resources. "Somebody has to say that about you a little bit, you know that, Scott". They were his first comments since it was reported that he used a top aide to inquire about a "business opportunity" with the fast-food company.

Public officials are prohibited from receiving unpaid services from employees or for using their office for private gain. The focus of almost a dozen federal inquiries into his travel expenses, security practices and other issues, Pruitt was on the Hill to testify about his agency's FY2019 budget proposal.

However, with Pruitt blunders maintaining footholds in the news cycle, some Republicans look eager to call out the EPA chief. Earlier this week, EPA's director of scheduling and advance, Millan Hupp, gave notice of her departure; her last day is Friday.

The agency told the outlet that the "EPA will not be commenting on anonymous sources who are working to distract Americans from Administrator Pruitt's accomplishments on regulatory certainty and environmental stewardship".

United signs Brazil global Fred
It is believed the 25-year-old will cost £52m, with Fred poised to be Jose Mourinho's first major summer signing. Manchester United have reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk to sign Brazil midfielder Fred .

"Administrator Pruitt follows the same security protocol whether he's in his personal or official capacity", EPA press secretary Kelsi Daniell told CBS News on the matter. On the other hand, you may not remember that Pruitt also spent around $1,560 of taxpayer money on 12 fancy fountain pens, and roughly the same amount on fancy journals. The opportunity, according to one former EPA senior staff member, was exploring the possibility of a Chick-fil-A franchise for Pruitt's wife.

Their resignations leave Pruitt increasingly isolated at the EPA, where he has lost the confidence of most of the agency's career staff and many conservative political appointees who feel that Pruitt's ethical lapses have done a disservice to the President's agenda.

"Well, I support numerous new policies of the EPA", Kennedy said, before adding, "They're not Mr. Pruitt's policies".

"The administrator didn't mention a specific topic but I will touch base with him to see if there is one", Hupp said in one email.
