Domino’s Paving for Pizza: Why Is Chain Filling Potholes Across America?

Domino’s Paving for Pizza: Why Is Chain Filling Potholes Across America?

A new promotion from the popular pizza chain offers to fill the potholes, cracks and bumps in the roads of any city that gets "nominations" from their resident pizza lovers.

Why is Domino's extending this offer? Domino's says this will help them ensure the "integrity of pizza remains in tact".

"We can't let your cheese slide to one side, your toppings get untopped, or your boxes get flipped". "We appreciated the extra Paving for Pizza funds to stretch our street fix budget as we addressed more potholes than usual", the city manager told Domino's.

"This unique, innovative partnership allowed the town of Bartonville to accomplish more pothole repairs", Mayor Bill Scherer was quoted by Domino's as saying. The loose connection between roads and pizza delivery is just enough to give Domino's justification to engage in a major campaign to demonstrate the company's social conscience.

Domino's has also repaired potholes in Bartonville, Texas, Athens, Georgia, and Burbank, California. The trucks sent out to the jobs include a slogan that reads "bad roads shouldn't happen to good pizza".

She continued. "In Assassin's Creed Odyssey , we're telling a story of a family that has been torn apart and a family tragedy". The world is described as dynamic, one that is constantly changing in response to decisions and actions the player makes.

Customers can nominate their cities on the Domino's website, reports Yahoo Finance. The company is going town to town, fixing potholes that can put your precious pies at risk.

Which says far more about the state of America's road funding than it does about pizza, really.

On May 2, officials said they were investigating reports of "excessive rodent activity".

For the next 12 weeks, Domino's is inviting customers to nominate their local area for a grant on pavingforpizza.com.
