Demi Lovato's Team Confirms She's 'Awake and With Family' After Apparent Overdose

TMZ reports that actress/singer Demi Lovato was rushed to a hospital after suffering from what appears to be an overdose.

Los Angeles Police told The Hollywood Reporter that officers responded to a home on Laurel View Drive, on which Lovato reportedly has a home, on Tuesday morning for a possible overdose victim.

TMZ was the first to report that Lovato had been hospitalized for a drug overdose, based on its sources, and other outlets including People magazine also reported her hospitalization based on sources.

Demi got candid about her drug struggles in the YouTube documentary Simply Complicated, which was released a year ago. She relapsed after she left the treatment center, then entered a sober living facility for a year. "She is a light in this world, and I am sending my love to her and her family", she tweeted.

"People think it's a breakup song, but it's actually kind of a breakup song with myself and my bad habits", she said in February.

She has since gone on to be a multi-platinum pop star with hits such as Sorry Not Sorry, Skyscraper and Heart Attack. A lot of their issues had to do with their age difference, but she's matured a lot even in the past year or so. "Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey".

Trump fires off explosive threat to Iran's leader
Reuters reports that the Trump administration has used speeches and online media as a means to pressure Iran into ending its nuclear programme.

She joined Iggy Azalea on Sunday at California's Mid-State Fair, where the pair performed.

Lovato has been vocal about her struggle with addiction and eating disorder.

"I love you @ddlovato", Grande said.

She was set to play a show in Atlantic City on Thursday.

"Tonight's previously scheduled episode of Beat Shazam featured a guest appearance by Demi Lovato", Fox said in a release. "It's basically like a therapy session before the concerts and we have speakers from all over, and we're also helping out with different charities from around the country, so it'll be incredible and a very moving and inspiring experience", Demi told Good Morning America in January. She needs our prayers and support.

Demi Lovato opened up about her previous addiction troubles in a 2017 documentary. Ellen DeGeneres, Lady Gaga and Joe Jonas were among the stars who sent an outpouring of support to the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer, who is said to be in "stable" condition.
